What if your perceived roadblocks or setbacks were actually the Universe’s way of redirecting you towards a different path? A path that is actually more in alignment with your true nature, goals and values. Through shifting your perspective, refraining from labeling or judging an experience, situation or person as this BAD thing happening TO YOU, what if instead you viewed everything as happening FOR you- some redirection from the Universe simply supporting you towards greater alignment and fulfillment. What if instead of obstacles that must be overcome, challenges become essential experiences that help to prepare and support us on our journey towards becoming the best, most authentic, capable version of ourselves?
Of course it’s not always going to be a smooth ride. Life can get bumpy, people and situations have a way of triggering us, but triggers are teachers, and thus when we are triggered, it’s not something to be avoided at all costs, but rather approached from a place of open curiosity…there’s something there asking to be resolved and healed. Triggers are opportunities to grow.
I get this is a major perspective shift for most, and it’s a constant practice (for me too!)- but it’s a shift that will bring you peace, optimism and perspective. You don’t have to figure it out on your own.

Trauma/EMDR Therapy
When left unprocessed, or buried away, the past tends to find a way of playing out again and again in familiar patterns and cycles that are very much present- and can create very real blocks or dis-ease within your life.
Through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I will support you in processing your past. You will gain new perspectives, acceptance and understanding from what was previously unbearable to even think about.

Intensives
Maximize healing with extended therapy time in addition to OR instead of traditional therapy sessions.
Maybe the traditional model of weekly or bi-weekly therapy just does not work for your busy schedule and you would prefer instead to allocate a larger chunk of time (90min-2hrs) to maximize both your time and the healing benefits experienced from therapy.

Ongoing support is available if you are working towards several treatment goals. This will be unique to your needs and goals. We could meet regularly (weekly or bi-weekly) for a period of time and then scale down to monthly or quarterly sessions as needed. This is an ongoing conversation between you and I based off of what you’re wanting to achieve.
Therapy should be flexible and meet YOUR needs.

Yes. I am paneled with a handful of insurance companies including Aetna, Cigna, United Health Care and UMR.
I also accept Self-Pay and Out of Network Benefits. You can check with your insurance provider about what your out-of-network benefits are to determine if you are eligible for partial reimbursement, or I can help you with this process- just reach out!

Therapists have less documentation requirements, paperwork, and insurance phone calls (more time to focus on you, the client).
Mental health diagnoses are not mandatory and are not submitted to your private health records.
Increased privacy and confidentiality. Insurance can request your chart at any time.
Increased flexibility to choose the -focus, duration, and frequency of therapy.
Research shows that clients who pay a fee for treatment have more positive outcome.

All services are remote from the comfort of your home, but you must be in the state of Washington or Nebraska. This means less time taken commuting, less time away from work, family, etc, and more time simply focused on your healing work. Get cozy with your tea/coffee and stay in comfy jammies, pet in lap!
